Project Description
METAVERSING4YOUTH is a project under the Erasmus+ program, which uses the metaverse as a space for learning, participation and interaction among young people.
METAVERSING4YOUTH utilizes the potential of the metaverse to create new opportunities for young people to develop digital and civic skills, share their ideas and actively participate in the future of Europe.
The project combines virtual spaces and face-to-face activities, promoting youth participation, digital transformation, inclusion and equality. Young people will be able to participate in training, discussions, meetings and events, exchange ideas with peers from all over Europe and interact with youth workers and other interested parties.
The project builds its own 3D multiplayer platform, accessible through a browser and mobile devices.
In it participants can:
- create and personalize avatars;
- visit virtual spaces;
- participate in meetings, trainings and seminars;
- communicate in real-time through proximity voice chat;
- create their own spaces and layouts;
- design virtual worlds through Unity;
- participate in events, discussions and exhibitions with young people from Europe.
Thus, the metaverse becomes a real environment for learning, collaboration and civic participation.
Main Directions
Youth Participation - encouraging young people to express their ideas and participate in European policies.
Metaverse + face to face - combining virtual and real meetings for learning and interaction.
Digital Transformation - developing digital skills and knowledge about AI, digital rights and virtual collaboration.
Inclusion and Equality - creating opportunities for young people from vulnerable groups to participate.
